The union led by the chairman Dr Chidi Nwadiaro held a congress in the university today after which the strike was suspended.
The suspension follows the compliance of the state government in settling the salary debts owed the lecturers.
The Non Academic Staff Union and Senior Staff Association yesterday called off their own strike and commenced work today.
All students are asked to hereby resume school from tomorrow, June 23rd as full academic activities will kick off.
The year one students are also expected back immediately for their first semester examinations which were paused as a consequence of the strike action.
